Meet Nicole – Contributor for Say Yes: All My Might

My name is Nicole Carter, I am just a small town girl from Arkansas who loves Jesus and His children. I have been married to my husband, Chris, for almost 11 years. We have 3 boys: Gavin (6), Hudson (3), and our bonus son Michael (17). I stay busy chasing our boys around, working part-time at our family’s jewelry store, and serving on the board of Into the Light, a ministry that works with minor survivors of sex trafficking in Arkansas.

I grew up in a family that loves Jesus! To my parents their relationship with Christ was more than just having perfect attendance on Sunday, it was a true relationship with the Lord. By watching them open their hearts and our home to the broken and in watching my Grandma who had very little give everything she had to the Lord I’ve seen God use ordinary people to work out His extraordinary plan everyday. Even as a child I can never remember a time when I doubted God’s existence or His love for me. But when I was in the eighth grade I became involved in youth group. It was then at a youth retreat that I decided to truly give “my all” to the Lord… and oh has it been an adventure since!

What does it mean to say “yes” with all your might? The more I think about this question the more I realize that “saying yes with all my might” is well… impossible…
